Investment Summary

  • Off-market acquisition of a 7.57ha land parcel in Thomas Road, Anketell, Western Australia approximately 35kms south of the Perth CBD. The project is located adjacent to Perth’s second proposed CostCo store, which is currently under construction, and several residential and mixed-use development sites.
  • Burtonwood is delivering the project in partnership with well-known Perth-based developer, Saracen Properties, who has successfully initiated and completed projects valued in excess of $1bn.
  • The mixed-use development project will comprise a United Petroleum fuel service station, Chicken Treat fast food restaurant (Australian Fast Foods Pty Ltd), BWS Liquor Store, Childcare, freestanding major supermarket with some adjoining essential services retail tenancies, and c.40 residential housing lots. The service station, Chicken Treat, liquor store and childcare are pre-committed and negotiations with the supermarket is well progressed.
  • Civil works are expected to commence on site in mid-2022, and the process has commenced to award civil contractors the applicable early-stage building contract.
